Pushing your Cycling Performance to the Next Level.

You want to go faster. We get it.

Whether you’re shooting for a top step on the podium at a national championship, or you’re just trying to build your portfolio of Strava KOMs, increased speed ultimately results from increased fitness, and Dialed Performance Coaching is here to get you to where you want to be. At Dialed Performance Coaching we understand that when it comes to creating training plans, one size absolutely doesn’t fit all.

Your workouts should be specific to your individual goals and ability as an athlete. Our plans are tailored to fit around your schedule and to get you to where you need to be for success at your targeted events.

We Listen to Our Clients

We start out by listening. Intently. Once we feel we know who you are and where you want to take yourself and your cycling, we will draft up a long-term training plan with the aim of increasing your power, endurance, speed, and race-winning prowess, and we’ll time everything so that you hit your peak right when it matters most. This might be a race season or a single important event. Sometimes you just have to train hard to stay with your younger teammates or get ready for training camp (ask me how I know!)

We Work with Industry Leading Tools

We will work in ‘Training Peaks’ a class-leading application for clients and coaches. Using a set of standardized metrics such as ‘Chronic Training Load’ (CTL), Acute Training Load’ (ATL), and ‘Training Stress Balance’ or ‘form’, we’ll be able to track your progress and adjust your training load and workout types throughout the year. Starting from a base-building period in the off-season all the way to tapering for a race, each week will have a different set of objectives. In addition, you’ll be able to use the training calendar to update your availability to train, add in events, and provide feedback on your workouts.

We Communicate

Communication is key to success. We will work with you during your initial setup to get you up to speed with your Training Peaks account set up and how to integrate it with existing apps you might be using such as ‘Strava’ or ‘Garmin Connect’. Phone or video conference consultation calls will be a regular feature of your plan. After the initial setup period, you’ll be able to schedule a regular bi-weekly call, and of course we’ll be able to chat leading up to your big events to discuss preparation and race strategy.

We are Flexible

There are some tradeoffs when embarking on a structured training plan. It is easy to feel that you’re losing some of the spontaneity of just getting out for a ride on a beautiful day. That is absolutely not the case! While we will be cutting out a whole bunch of “junk miles” for sure, we’ll also make room for those last-minute group rides and change things around to accommodate the weather or unforeseen things like injury or illness.
